this is that's enough now.
it's a sonic cousin of 2014's i need to stop... made up of all new songs from an (almost) all new palette.
some of the songs are so new that they surprised me when they showed up on the disc, others were cobbled together by mishearing what i had laid down in the demos for other tracks, which had been cobbled together by finally laying down parts and tracks that had been haunting me for years.
it's a 15 minute love letter to ? & the mysterians, to the special aka, and to the heimorgel.
where staring at a ruin was a survey of the morning after. this one is a bit of a realization that this always has been a ruin.
it's at once a testament and a disregard. a sort of revel in the inherent hope within nihilism. like music for the aftermath of something that never had been.
